Blaricum is one of the oldest village green settlements in ‘t Gooi, where the past is still clearly visible. In the historic village centre, you can stroll through narrow streets and past thatched farmhouses, which serve as a reminder of the village’s agricultural past. For centuries, farmers lived here, tilling the fields and keeping sheep on the surrounding heathland. That rural atmosphere is still palpable in the listed village centre.

Stroll through the charming, intimate centre or head out into the countryside towards the Tafelbergheide, the highest point in ‘t Gooi. Here, the heathlands of the Goois Nature Reserve alternate with woods and sweeping views. Along the way, you’ll pass boutiques, cosy cafés and historic sites.
