An evening walk in the dark past light artworks, light beacons and surprising acts. This edition is themed around a trip around the world. You can choose from 6, 12, 16 or 20 kilometres. You will walk the last kilometres along the beach back to the finish. An atmospheric walk for young and old.
Walking in the light
During this walk, you will walk through a dark dune and coastal landscape in the evening. Light beacons show the way and along the way you will keep encountering new light artworks. The theme of this edition is a world tour. Which countries and cities you visit along the way remains a surprise until the last moment. Every participant receives a cap with LED lighting.
Four distances
The Full Fjoertoer Experience is 20 kilometres. If you want to walk a shorter distance, you can choose 16 or 12 kilometres. For families with children, there is the Family Fjoertoer of 6 kilometres. All routes are marked and there are aid stations and medical facilities. Afterwards, you will receive a commemorative pin.
Good to know
The tour is not suitable for people with a disability and not for pushchairs. A dog is allowed if it is on a leash and well-lit. With a shuttle bus ticket, you can easily get to the start. The event supports the rescue services at sea and on the beach.
