Walk 13 km through the quiet dunes of the North Holland Dune Reserve. From Driehuis to Wijk aan Zee, past butterflies, dune valleys, and the Kruisberg lookout tower to Castricum.
Texel has mapped out a 6-kilometer walking route that allows you to enjoy the landscape to the fullest. Dogs are welcome on this route, provided they are kept on a leash.
Bring plenty of food and drink, as there are few facilities. During the breeding season (spring), parts of the beach may be cordoned off.
