Start the cycling season with a unique beginning: a 4-kilometre lap on a real Formula 1 circuit. Afterwards, you cycle into the dunes and through the beautiful surroundings on the coast. You can choose from 40, 80 or 120 kilometres. The routes are signposted and there are aid stations along the way.
Starting on the circuit
This tour starts at a place where you are normally not allowed to cycle: the famous race circuit on the coast. All distances start with a 4-kilometre lap on the asphalt of the circuit. After that, the tour continues through the dunes and the green surroundings. The event is very popular every year and was sold out last time with 4,000 participants.
Three distances
You can choose from 40, 80 or 120 kilometres. The routes are fully signposted and also available as a GPX file. Along the way, there are aid stations, medical care, a repair service and traffic controllers. With a regular registration, you will have your handlebar number and stamp card sent to your home. You decide for yourself whether you want a medal. The money from unordered medals goes towards making the event more sustainable.
Good to know
The organisation recommends coming by bike, because it is busy around the circuit. Supporters can come and watch in the paddock with a separate ticket. Children can participate for free in a separate race on fat tyres.
