From Tuesday, September 29 to Friday, October 2, 2026, the anniversary edition of the "Schoorlse Duinen" Four-Day Walking Event will take place. This year, the event celebrates its 10th edition – a milestone in a beautiful setting of beach, dunes, forests, and polders.
The Schoorl Dunes are among the highest dunes in the Netherlands and form the backdrop for this annual four-day walking event. Every day, you enjoy varied routes through the Staatsbosbeheer area, with spectacular views of the sea and coastline.

The routes take you through the varied landscape of the Schoorl Dunes and the surrounding area. You walk along the rushing North Sea with views of the surf, through vast dune valleys with special plant species, and over dikes with sweeping polder views. Highlights along the way include:
