The Geversduin Route is a five-kilometer forest walk through the North Holland Dune Reserve, between Castricum and Heemskerk. The route is ideal for lovers of forest walks and leads through deciduous, coniferous, and mixed forests, interspersed with open dunes.

The Time Path is a ten-kilometer historical discovery tour through the dunes near Castricum, created in collaboration with Oud-Castricum. Along 33 information points, you will learn about 2,500 years of history of this landscape, from Dunkirk privateers and the Romans to the Battle of Castricum and the Second World War.

This route starts at Buitenpoort Castricum. Hildes Rondje is a scavenger hunt of approximately three kilometers for children through the surroundings of Huis van Hilde in Castricum. Along the way, you will come across all kinds of fun places and things and answer questions that help you on your way to the next discovery.

The Rodaam Route is a four-kilometer forest walk through the North Holland Dune Reserve near Castricum. The route leads through centuries-old oak forests and impressive avenues and heads west into open dunes, with the Rodaam Forest Reserve as a special part of the walk.

This cycling route starts in Spaarndam, which is known for its rich history and cozy atmosphere. Spaarndam is situated on the Spaarne and originated as a dam in the river. The village still has a charming appearance with old houses and narrow streets.
